Each tile comes from an authentic 1920s Mahjong set, featuring:
• Rare, richly aged bamboo backing, naturally darkened over a century to deep walnut tones, reminiscent of whiskey, sandy brown, or sand brown shades.
• Genuine cow bone tops, showcasing their natural vintage character.
To seamlessly blend with your existing set, each tile is topped with a modern joker replication sticker, featuring:
• Red “JOKER” text
• Grayish dragon head decal
• Aged bone color background to match the patina of original tiles
These enhancements ensure your Mahjong set is ready for American/National League Mahjong gameplay while maintaining its vintage elegance.

Condition & Important Notice
• The bone tops exhibit natural aging spots, adding to their vintage charm.
• The rare aging bamboo has naturally shrunk over time due to exposure to humidity, particularly from being stored in a damp basement. However, the dovetails remain firmly intact.

If the bamboo on your existing tiles is less aged than the ones shown, I strongly advise against ordering this set. A mismatch in aging could cause noticeable differences, potentially making the Joker tiles stand out during gameplay.
